Mission Trip & Local Outreach — October 10 Put your faith into action during our Mission Trip & Local Outreach program on October 10 at 11:30 AM. This special gathering is an opportunity for church members and community participants to come together with one purpose: to serve, share hope, and demonstrate the love of Christ through meaningful action. Participants will learn more about opportunities to support local outreach efforts, serve individuals and families, strengthen communities, and participate in future mission activities. Whether you have previous mission experience or are looking for your first opportunity to serve, everyone is welcome. We will gather at 8105 Douglas Ave, Urbandale, IA 50322. Come discover how your time, gifts, compassion, and faith can make a difference. Join us as we become the hands and feet of Jesus—serving locally and reaching beyond our community.

Blessing Bags for the Homeless Community — October 17 Join us on Monday, October 17, at 9:00 AM as we serve our neighbors through Blessing Bags for the Homeless Community. This compassionate outreach will focus on providing useful supplies, encouragement, and kindness to individuals experiencing homelessness in the Des Moines area. Volunteers will help prepare and distribute blessing bags at a Des Moines homeless shelter and through street outreach, allowing us to meet people where they are and remind them that they are seen, valued, and cared for. This event is open to church members, families, young adults, and anyone who wants to serve the community practically. Bring your heart for service and join us as we turn faith into action. Together, we can share hope, dignity, and the love of Christ with our neighbors.

Young Adults Serve & Support Day — October 24 Young adults are invited to make a difference at our Young Adults Serve & Support Day on Saturday, October 24, at 5:00 PM at Central Iowa Shelter & Services. This special outreach experience will bring young adults together for an evening of service, compassion, fellowship, and community impact. Participants will have an opportunity to support individuals experiencing homelessness while learning how simple acts of kindness can bring encouragement and hope to others. The event is also designed to strengthen relationships among young adults while putting Christian faith into practical action. Whether you regularly volunteer or are looking for your first opportunity to serve, we would love to have you join us. Come ready to serve, connect, and make an impact as we share God’s love with our community.

MCPI Missions Sunday — October 25 Join Miracle Chapel of Praise International for a powerful Missions Sunday celebration on Sunday, October 25, at 11:30 AM at 8105 Douglas Ave, Urbandale, Iowa. Missions Sunday is an opportunity for our entire church family to celebrate God’s work in our community and around the world while discovering how each of us can participate in His mission. The service will emphasize prayer, outreach, giving, serving, and sharing the hope of Christ with people from every background and nation. Expect an uplifting time of worship, biblical encouragement, missions-focused inspiration, and a renewed call to make a difference both locally and globally. Everyone is welcome.
