Blessing Bags for the Homeless Community — October 17 Join us on Monday, October 17, at 9:00 AM as we serve our neighbors through Blessing Bags for the Homeless Community. This compassionate outreach will focus on providing useful supplies, encouragement, and kindness to individuals experiencing homelessness in the Des Moines area. Volunteers will help prepare and distribute blessing bags at a Des Moines homeless shelter and through street outreach, allowing us to meet people where they are and remind them that they are seen, valued, and cared for. This event is open to church members, families, young adults, and anyone who wants to serve the community practically. Bring your heart for service and join us as we turn faith into action. Young Adults Serve & Support Day — October 24 Young adults are invited to make a difference at our Young Adults Serve & Support Day on Saturday, October 24, at 5:00 PM at Central Iowa Shelter & Services. This special outreach experience will bring young adults together for an evening of service, compassion, fellowship, and community impact. Participants will have an opportunity to support individuals experiencing homelessness while learning how simple acts of kindness can bring encouragement and hope to others. The event is also designed to strengthen relationships among young adults while putting Christian faith into practical action. MCPI Missions Sunday — October 25 Join Miracle Chapel of Praise International for a powerful Missions Sunday celebration on Sunday, October 25, at 11:30 AM at 8105 Douglas Ave, Urbandale, Iowa.
